Charlotte Evans is a solutions consultant at Coursera, where she works with companies across North America to define their upskilling and reskilling learning solutions. A proud NYU alum who double majored in broadcast journalism and East Asian studies with a focus in Mandarin language study, Charlotte graduated in 2013 and moved to Shanghai. In China, she worked as a global academic fellow for two years at NYU Shanghai, where she also built out their service learning programming through the creation of the Deans’ Service Scholars program. After completing the two-year fellowship, she moved to Singapore for three years to work as a fellowships advisor at Yale-NUS College. In her final year in Singapore, she pursued a fellowship with the Qatar Foundation’s World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Learners’ Voice program, which focused on global refugee education access. Upon returning to the United States, she graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Education with an EdM in its International Education Policy program in 2019, and she has continued her professional passion for international education access through her current work at Coursera.
