Matt Stevens is a Managing Director in Deloitte’s Human Capital Workforce Transformation practice with over 20 years of experience in organizational learning and talent development. He has extensive experience in developing and driving talent strategy, including leadership and professional development, competency management and developing and implementing innovative learning solutions. Matt brings to clients experience in all aspects of people and organizational development within a range of industries, and particularly in Financial Services and Healthcare.
Matt is responsible for defining and implementing talent strategies for clients to define their skills requirements for the future, to develop critical workforce skills, such as Gen AI and to transform the way they help employees to grow their careers through both effective and efficient, scalable solutions.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Matt led Learning & Talent Development for Capital One and USAA. Notably, Matt led the creation of Capital One’s first corporate university and at USAA, he helped advance front line employee career development through a mix of education and hands-on experience. His experience in addressing workforce skills gaps through targeted curricula, skills assessment, and career development programs resulted in those organizations being recognized by Training magazine (Top 125 Learning Organizations) and Association for Talent Development (ATD) in their annual BEST awards.
