Leaders often have a tendency to "jump to a solution" before an issue is fully understood. When this happens, a solution may be implemented that has little real impact. In this session we'll use a case study to illustrate the Performance Consulting approach and explore ways to prevent solution jumping by linking solutions to root causes.
Learning Objectives:
Categorize root causes as external to the organization, internal to the organization, or internal to individuals.
Identify instructional and noninstructional solutions to address root causes.
Help clients select an appropriate set of solutions.
