In this session, you will explore the difference between “learning about” and “having an experience of” to create a framework for a deeper appreciation of diversity, equity, and inclusion. With an imported African drum provided for use during the session, we will explore music as a metaphor for recognizing, valuing, and embracing differences. We will create a piece of music together, debriefing each step in the context of key diversity concepts. This session will deliver insight, impact, and actionable learning.
