Ever felt that taking time to care for yourself –- in body, heart, and mind –- is self-indulgent or selfish? As if all your time and energy must always be commodified and accounted for? Our cultural normalization of ever-busy and never-enough living (even in our down time) can insidiously turn life-giving practices, like meditation, into just one more thing to do. In this session, we’ll explore (and experience) mindfulness through the lenses of service and belonging, expanding our self-help “me” mindset into one of selfless “we".
